About Us

On October 26, 2015, an idea that would change the world forever was sparked by Sierra Savedge and Shantál Jones. These two determined young women from Surry County, Virginia had a strong desire to establish an organization that would bring together people of all backgrounds. After many hours of contemplating, they decided to name this non-profit organization Just BE. The name Just BE was selected to inspire people to be whatever they want to be in life.

OUR TEAM
As ideas began to form, the organization began to grow. Bringing on many volunteers, donors, and board members, Just BE was on it’s way to success! Realizing that this was not only our dream, but others as well.
Since then, Just BE has continued to provide hope for the homeless, scholarships to the youth, love to the community, and change for the future.
"We want to be the example for our youth, make the elderly proud, shock the community, AND do what has never been done before. We strive to let others know that limitations do not exist. We hope that when they see us, they will want to be better. Just BE under promises and over delivers!”
Just BE is incorporated in the state of Virginia as a nonprofit organization. The nonprofit’s 501(c)3 tax-exempt status is pending approval by the IRS.
